Singularity Release Date

Singularity release date will be this week and on June 29 2010. Available on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, this game reminds one of the Falcon gamebook from the 1980s. In those gamebooks, one is given a time machine and goes back in time to stop time travelling villains from altering the future through alternations in the galactic timeline.

Fast forward 2010.... and finally a time travel video game that looks and feels exciting! Singularity comes with a bonus exclusive graphic novel. In Singularity, you are the pilot of a aircraft that has crashed landed onto a island whose phyics laws have been alrered by element E-99. Apparently, Einstein's theory of relativity no longer applies here. Your hand is armed with a time manipulation device (called TMD for short). It can create miniaturized black holes or singularities. This can be used as a time teleportation device or as a weapon depending on your mood and the situation.

At this year's E3, a demonstration of Singularity was provided. The enemies in Singularity vary from the typical weapon shooting baddies to Zecks. These are enemies capable of a limited time manipulation, and hence very dangerous. They can flick in at a particular location and zoom out at another location, and they can teleport themselves a few minutes or seconds from the present, and hence bullets have no effect on them at this moment in time.
