Armada of the Damned

Armada of the damned is a rpg pirate game based in the Pirates of the Caribbean universe where the player starts off as a young pirate striving to achieve pirate-stardom. There are 2 routes for doing this - either become a Legendary pirate or a Dread pirate. Either way, you will be in control of a ship, and can explore the seas and land in this game. It should be a throwback to Sid Meier's Pirate series but made for the Xbox 360 and modern day PC, with lots of swashbuckling actions.

Combat in armada of the damned looks very good and wonderfully crafted to suit the fighting style of a pirate lord. Attacks consist of a light attack, heavy blow and some special moves. If you play the line of a Legendary pirate, then you attack with some wonderfully crafted type grand weapons of a classic pirate. If you play the life of a dread pirate, then evil weapons form the backbone of your combat moves. The combat moves slow down to special moves at the end of a combat sequel. It reminds one of Fable 1 actually. Fable 1 boasts some of the best combat sequence, especially if you are able to use haste, but sadly those moves were not exaggerated or improved in Fable 2. Owning a ship has always been the pinnacle of any successful entrepreneur. It is no different in Armada of the Damned as a pirate lord entrepreneur. Become a legendary pirate, and your ship will look like the Titanic which can never be sunk. Become a dread pirate, and your ship will look like Skeletor's ship.

On the subject of Pirates of the Carribbean, Pirates of the Carribean 4 will be filmed according to some reliable rumours. Pirates 4 will star Penelope Cruz as Blackbeard's daughter. The story centers on Jack Sparrow and Barbossa looking for forever adventures in Carribean land, as they went looking for the Fountain of Youth. It is set for a release date of May 2011.
